What is Metal Core PCB?

The metal core printed circuit board comprises a thermal insulating layer, a metal plate, and metal copper foil. It has high magnetic conductivity, great heat dissipation, high mechanical strength, and outstanding processing performance. There are aluminum, brass, and copper basis materials for metal core base materials. The aluminum substrate is a metal-based copper-wrapped plate with excellent heat transfer and dissipation properties.

A metal core PCB board uses metal as its base material rather than the standard FR4 to spread heat throughout the board. Heat accumulates because of some electronic components operating on the board. The metal aims to direct heat away from essential board components and onto less critical places.

What are the options for metal core PCBs?

Aluminum PCBs are ordered more often because the price of aluminium PCBs is much more economical; they are used for LED lighting, audio frequency apparatus, and electronic communication equipment. The base material consists of an aluminium core with a thin layer of insulation and a copper foil. Yes. Since we have all kinds of factories, we can offer a wide range of delivery times. Also, many of our volume factories have prototype services in-house, so both prototype and volume will be produced in the factory.

Yes, there are still a lot of PCB manufacturers inside Europe, and we have carefully selected PCB manufacturers as our suppliers for express prototyping, but also a producer of solder paste stencils for PCB soldering. This laser-cut solder paste stencil can be of various types, such as vector guard, zellflex, genesis, and more, but also multi-level stencil.

All deliveries will pass Multi-Teknik quality control, and we check quality with the CAM-prepared data made at the beginning of the process. You will also have a CoC and quality control document along with the delivered PCB.

The straight answer is no. You will have the correct quantity of PCBs and only pay for the correct ones. The x-outs are not considered when counting and will not be included in the amount on the delivery note.

Flex PCB is the same as the ordinary PCB, but with the difference that the base material is flexible. This is to let the circuit be able to be bent during a lifetime or be installed in a static folded mode. There are many design rules to take into account when designing flex PCB.
